I was thinking back on our last year or so and got a little mad at myself for not being more thankful to God for all that He has done for us. Of course I thank Him daily for life and asked for forgiveness of sins and what not. But how often do I really thank Him for the gift of being Afton's mom in particular. Apparently not enough. In this CHRISTmas season, I am so thankful for the gift of being able to have a children and love her and watch her grow into an individual. I guess I've been thinking about this more lately, since I have a few close friends that are unable to have children. I feel so bad for them but also know God has bigger and better plans for them. So know everytime that little girl looks up at me and smiles, I think how BLESSEd am I.....So blessed and thankful.
